George Panagakos is a Boston Native and one of EventNow’s great Photographers. He is also an internationally 
published and award-winning photographer (for the latest, search “Best of ASMP 2010″), and has recently published his first large-format coffee-table art book. He began his career seventeen years ago as an advertising and editorial shooter. In 2008, he turned his attention to weddings, as well, and has found that he tremendously enjoys the work and the people he has the opportunity to work with. In the commercial photography world, the intense competition requires that expectations are exceeded consistently. George has learned to operate this way and carries this ethos over to his wedding work.
“I am deeply in love with photography” George says.” I love people with an even greater passion. I like to think that these are among the most important qualifications a photographer can have.” Truer words were never spoken! It is this philosophy that fuels the passion that you can see in every one of George’s photos. “I have the experience. I have the technical knowledge. I have the equipment. But, the ability to connect with my subject, and to see the connections between others, and to capture that moment in time for posterity is why I do this. It’s a sweet little victory every time it happens.”

George lives with his wife and daughter, and has his studio, in Winthrop, MA, a little hamlet on Boston Harbor.
