To raise money for Reach for a Dream, an organization that grants
wishes for terminally ill children between the ages of three to 18, Paul and Christine Stiffler of Beacon Bay, South Africa, held a dinner party that boasted an Out of Africa theme, the Daily Dispatch Online reports.
Guests donned African-print and safari-inspired outfits, and the dinner party menu included crocodile fritters, buffalo steak and a traditional milk tart. Cocktails were served before the meal as well.
“I think everyone should have a dream fulfilled. We have been blessed and would like to share our blessings with someone else,” partygoer Carol-Ann Connellan told the news source.
Those interested in throwing a themed dinner party should remember that an elaborate event often requires a great deal of careful planning, so early preparation is key.
