EventNow reports Ray Romano hosts event in honor of Peter Boyle and most specifically we are talking about the International Myeloma Foundations 5th Annual comedy celebration which benefits The Peter Boyle Memorial Fund.
Peter Boyle, who played Ray Romano’s father on the huge TV sitcom hit “Everybody Loves Raymond” for about 10 years, hosted this event in his honor, since Peter Boyle left the world too soon about five years ago.
At this even his TV family was there and we mean Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Doris Roberts, Fred Willard, as well as other celebrities like Alfre Woodard, Blythe Danner, Colin Quinn, Darrell Hammond, Lorraine Boyle, Peter Gallagher, Tom Arnold, etc. and many more other attendees.
The venue that hosted this event was Wilshire Ebell Theatre. The guests as they arrived they posed for their pictures to be taken by the onsite photographers. The night which is a great fundraiser to raise funds for the International Myeloma Foundation also included many performances.
As the guests were enjoying their cocktails that the onsite bartending staff had prepared for them and while they were indulging on some appetizers, they got to enjoy some amazing performances by Fred Willard, Colin Quinn, Tom Arnold, Darrell Hammond and many more other talented individuals that gave the guests a chuckle or two and made them forget their worries and their sorrows.
Also, there was a silent auction that took place with many amazing items that the guests good bid on and to raise funds for this great cause. While they were viewing the silent auction, there was some soft music playing in the background for the guest’s acoustic pleasure.
This event was amazing and for a great cause. We like to see that there are foundation’s that are pushing to find a cure for various diseases.
