EventNow reports Memorial Day NYC hot spot celebrations. Since the holiday weekend is here and will be a great three day weekend and if you don’t have any plans or if you are in New York for the holiday and haven’t been able to go to the Hamptons to kick off the summer season, here are some hot spots and what to do:
Fleet Week: This week is fleet week. Go down to the West Side pier and tour one of the ships, see some performances at Time Square. It is an amazing experience.
Mulberry Project: Is located at 149 Mulberry Street, once you enter the store and go past the DJ booth that is a great outdoor seating dining section where you can go and enjoy a great meal and some tasty frozen drinks that are sure to cool you off in this hot weather and make you relax.
Governor’s Island: Summer is here when you know that Governor’s Island is open. Take a visit there and enjoy all that it has to offer. Enjoy the couture fashion and accessories exhibit. Visit the Brewers Pic-NYC. This is a two day fest that takes place on Sunday and Monday. It gathers all of the top brewers and they serve the best food. Let’s not forget the live entertainment that will be on hand for everyone to enjoy. This is a must go and have a good time.
The Metropolitan Museum: If you want to do something low key and just enjoy the art, got to the MET and enjoy the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition that is going on right now. Then you can go to one of the above recommendations to have a good bite and enjoy some drinks.
These are just some our recommendations. Have a good holiday weekend and enjoy!
