EventNow reports golden globe home celebrations that will be taking place this weekend in a very high number of households.

Now that the People’s Choice Awards are behind us, the Golden Globes are next and will be broadcasted on national TV on Sunday, so instead of having a date with your couch and a bowl of popcorn, why don’t you go the extra step and have a small little gathering at your house.

Well it’s not the Oscars, where you can go a little more out and have your guests dress in their finest, and “paparazzi” onsite to take pictures of their arrival, etc. but at least you can have something more low key and still have an amazing time and have your guests talk about it.

So it’s really easy. Invite a small group of your closest family and friends that share the same madness and love for the Golden Globes. Then have some cocktails on hand, you can get those pre mixed drinks or if you want to become mix master, all you need is a couple of bottle so alcohol and some mixes and you can make your own creations. Then plan on having some finger foods and appetizers for your guests, like various chips and dips, some puff appetizers, some small finger sandwiches, and anything that pleases yours and your guests palette. Lastly, just have an assortment of mini desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth, and also it’s good to have on hand to eat if who you are rooting for doesn’t win and need to drown your sorrows.

Well this is just a small little guideline to help you if you are planning a little gathering at your house to watch the Golden Globes. The best is yet to come with the Oscars at the end of next month. Stay tuned for that one!
