EventNow reports the first annual comedy awards and the after party celebration that took place the other night in New York City. This is the first award show that honors comedians for their hard work of making everyone around the world laugh and in general put a smile on their face every day.
All of comic actors, TV hosts, etc. where invited to attend this special awards show and this was a very special one, as this was the first of the many awards shows to come. The event took place at the Hammerstein Ballroom, where the attendees and honorees got to enjoy the show. Some of the people attending the show were: Bill Murray, David Letterman, Jon Crier, Jon Stewarts, Tina Fey, etc. and that is just to name a few of the sea of people attending this event.
The festivities began with the award show and several individuals were given high honors that night. Some of them were: Eddie Murphy was honored and given the Career Icon Award, David Letterman was honored and given the Johnny Carson Award, also there were shows that were nominated and won.
After the award ceremony was over, the party took place at the Monkey Bar, where there all the attendees, nominees, winners, etc. attended to celebrate this show. There all the guests got to enjoy the drinks that the on staff bartenders created especially for the guests, as well as the music that the DJ was playing for their relaxation and also to celebrate their win, but mostly the creation of this new award show. The dinner was amazing and it was created and served to everyone’s liking by the onsite catering staff and was server by the very helpful staff.
It was one star studded night, full of laughs and excitement. Congratulations to all the winners!
