By Alicia McCarthy – September 13, 2012

EventNow reports Betsey Johnson celebrated her 70th birthday the other night in New York City as she concluded her Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion show.

Espace was the home for the fashion show and birthday celebration. The famous fashion designer (known for her eccentric fashion creations) hosted her Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show on Tuesday night. Guests like Betsey Johnson, Cyndi Lauper, Lulu Johnson, Steve Madden, Gillian Miniter, and Cory Kennedy enjoyed the show to the fullest. All her shows were always breathtaking and memorable in the past, and this one was no exception.

As the guests arrived, they were greeted with girls wearing pink tutus and were offered Prosecco, Asti, and mini bottles of Martini. Also, there was some tasty sweet treats created from Baked by Melissa. They were in little round containers in a huge glittery gumball machine. Once the successful fashion show was over, all of the models hit the stage along with the fashion designer and famous singer Cyndi Lauper to celebrate her birthday. There was a huge cake rolled out, where Lulu Johnson, who is Betsey Johnson’s daughter, popped out of the cake and wished her mom along with her two beautiful daughters Happy Birthday. What a beautiful birthday celebration with family and closest friends!
