EventNow reports Artwalk NY hosted its 17th annual event that took place the other night in New York City and it was a great success.
The venue that hosted this event was no other than Skylight Soho. Guests like Alec Baldwin who was co-chair of the event, Richard Gere who was co-chair of the event, Peter Davis, Coco Rocha who was honorary chairperson, Carey Lowel, Shepard Fairey, etc., and many more NYC socialite’s and celebrities, got a chance to attend this great event.
The guests were greeted with flashbulbs by the onsite photographers as they made their way into the venue. The wait staff was passing around appetizers that the onsite catering staff had prepared for them to indulge on as they were enjoying their cocktails as the onsite bartending staff was preparing for them according to their liking.
There were some speeches and many good ways to raise funds. There were two auctions that took place. One was a silent auction and the other was a live auction and it had many art pieces that were being auctioned off for many lucky winners.
This is a great event and a great way to raise fund for art. As always this was the 17th year straight of a successful benefit for a great foundation! Keeping up the amazing work and continue in believing in arts!
