EventNow reports Alec Baldwin ties the knot and the nuptials took place this past weekend in New York City and it was an amazing event and a much anticipated and speculated one.
The famous actor, who started dating Hilaria Thomas in the summer of 2011, popped the question to her in April of 2012 and since then, there has been talk about the couple eloping and getting married, but they decided to do it the right way with all their family and friends in attendance.
The date was Saturday, June 30th, and the nuptials took place at St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in Manhattan. The bride along with your entourage and her new stepdaughter Ireland Baldwin appeared at the church in their casual clothes and smiling and waving to the bystanders who were there to catch a glimpse of the happy couple of they were lucky. About an hour and half later the groom showed up looking smashing as ever in his Tom Ford tuxedo and he made his way into the church without stopping to give an interviews.
The bride looked amazing in her custom made Amsale wedding dress. It was a silk magnolia trumpet with crystal buttons and small cap sleeves. She looked absolutely stunning in it! For her bridal party she went the mix and match way. Each bridesmaid wore their own dress but within the color scheme of turquoise, black and gray. The church was decorated beautifully with many rose, hydrangea and calla lily flowers arrangements that were by the altar and on each pew.
After the ceremony, the guests which included Tina Fey, Mariska Hargitay, Woody Allen along with his wife, Jimmy Fallon, etc. and many others went ahead to NYU’s Kimmel Center where the party really started. The guests were enjoying cocktails and other specialty drinks that the bartending staff had prepared for them as well as delicious delicacies from the appetizers to the sit down dinner that the catering staff had prepared. The music was amazing and everyone seemed to be enjoying and dancing the night away.
Congrats to the happy couple! We wish them a lifetime of happiness and love!
