EventNow reports 2012 New York City’s Ballet spring gala that took place last night and it was great to see many celebrities taking the time out of their busy schedule to attend this event and it was really amazing.
Every year this event is hosted and has many choreographers’s featured, so this year there was no exception, and some well-known choreographers were being showcased.
The event took place at the David H. Koch Theater in New York City and guests like Natalie Portman who was the honorary Chairman of the gala was escorted by her husband Benjamin Millepied who one of his choreographed ballets was featured last night, Drew Barrymore who looked ravishing in her white Chanel gown and with her growing belly which she still hasn’t confirmed for us that she is pregnant came along with her fiancé, Vanessa Williams, Alexandra Lebenthal, Sarah Jessica Parker along with her husband Matthew Broderick, etc. and many others, walked the red carpet and posed for their pictures to be taken by the onsite photographers, the night was filled with flash bulbs and pearly whites.
The guests got to enjoy the ballet and see what amazing work was created and year after year is always amazing and never fails to amaze. After the event, all of the guests attended the dinner that was hosted to celebrate the event. The onsite bartending staff was popping up champagne bottles and passing around to the guests as well as creating various cocktails. The onsite catering staff had prepared a magnificent display of various appetizers as well as a delicious sit down dinner that had everyone talking about it.
What an amazing event and what a fantastic way to celebrate. We always look forward every year for this gala and we cannot wait for next years.
