2012 Do Something Awards In California

EventNow reports 2012 Do Something awards that were hosted over the weekend in sunny and beautiful California, and it’s an amazing award to rewards celebrities that they make a difference philanthropically.

So where did the event take place? Well, the venue that hosted this award ceremony was no other than Barker Hangar, in Santa Monica, California. Many celebrities attended and were awarded for their outstanding work.

Guests like Lea Michele who looked amazing in her ivory ruffle gown was escorted by her beau Cory Monteith, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Kristen Bell along with her fiancé, Kelly Osbourne, Ben Affleck, Flo Ri Da, Maria Menounos, Olivia Munn, Sophia Bush, Giuliana Rancic who soon will be receiving a stork visit, Karina Smirnoff, Olympic Gold medalist Hope Solo, etc. and many others walked the blue carpet and posed for their pictures to be taken by the onsite photographers that were there to capture their arrival.

As the guests made their way into the venue and found their designated seats, they were waiting with anticipation for the award ceremony to start and to see who will win an award. Hope Solo as well as Ben Affleck won an award. Let’s not forget the amazing performances from the many singers and especially Flo Ri Da’s performance was fantastic.

After the award ceremony concluded, they all went ahead to the various after parties that were hosted to celebrate the winnings and the nominations. They all seemed to be enjoying the festivities to the fullest and having a fantastic time while sipping on cocktails and indulging in an amazing selection of appetizers for everyone to munch on as they mingle and enjoy the festivities.

This is a great award ceremony and it is hosted annually. We cannot wait for next year’s event to see who will be honored.
